Family Church Leaders
Pastor of Preaching & Vision
Dean Ross serves Family Church as our pastor of preaching and vision. He is a native of Kenner, LA, who surrendered to full-time ministry following the devastation wrought by Hurricane Katrina. After serving Christ for nearly a decade in parachurch ministry including the founding and pioneering of Abandon Productions (later rebranded as The Restoration Collective), Dean answered the call to pastoral ministry and church planting with Restoration Church in Metairie, LA, before serving as associate pastor for his home church, Williams Blvd. Baptist Church. Dean holds a business degree from Southeastern Louisiana University and a masters degree in urban mission from the New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary. He has been married to Laura for over 15 years and they have 3 boys: Colden, Braden, and Ashden.
Pastor of Discipleship & Administration
Mike Farley serves Family Church as our pastor of discipleship and administration. He is a Texas native who surrendered to Jesus Christ as an adult. Mike has adapted to various contexts and cultures living in Boston, Maine, Atlanta, and the mountains of Eastern Tennessee. His family spent several months serving in France as well. Mike most recently served as executive pastor for Forward Church in Knoxville, TN, while completing his ministry degree at Johnson University. His family recently sensed the call to move to New Orleans to join the leadership of Family Church and invest long-term in church planting and multiplication in our region. He has been married to Julie for over 17 years and they have 2 adult sons Jake and Marcus along with their teenage daughter Grace.
Director of Music & Media
Reece Carrin serves Family Church as our director of music and media. He was born in the New Orleans region before moving away with his family as a young man. Reece returned to the city in the immediate aftermath of Hurricane Ida serving as a disaster relief volunteer alongside what would become his future church family. During this challenging season, he answered the call to serve the local church through worship ministry, a completely new venture for him. Reece has prior experience in music and media production. He recently released a project entitled "Need The King" available for streaming and download on most digital outlets and leading the development of our media output including the Family Church Podcast, The Family Room Podcast, and much more to come.
